Lent Sunday Series: Realease and Reimagine your authentic desires and highest ambitions

Special Lenten Season Messages - Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

Every follower of Jesus who wishes to observe Lent in accordance with Christian principles engages in the practices of prayer and fasting as instructed by Him. These disciplines are regarded as essential means for attaining spiritual strength. The responsibility for personal growth rests with each individual, who must learn to subordinate self-centered impulses in favor of altruistic motivations. By devoting equal attention and support to enduring values, individuals nurture their spiritual well-being, which constitutes genuine prayer. Through sincere adherence to the Christ model of fasting, one's capacity to embrace God's will is enhanced.

Lent should be viewed not merely as preparation for Easter, but as an opportunity for personal transformation. Easter serves as a reminder of the innate Christ nature within us, while Lent encourages purification in advance. This period invites the release of discouraging thoughts, restrictive habits, and limiting beliefs.

Once obstacles have been eliminated, it becomes pertinent to consider how to pursue aspirations. What positive thoughts or behaviors might we incorporate? We possess the potential to achieve what we envision.

We are empowered to redefine our lives by focusing on authentic desires, recognizing that our thoughts possess creative influence. The theme for this year, Release and Reimagine, encourages such reflection. Weekday messages pair releasing with reimagining, offering guidance from relinquishing the unnecessary to embracing our highest ambitions. Sunday essays examine facets of imagination—one of humanity's spiritual faculties—as the force that shapes existence.

It is our hope that this booklet assists and fortifies your efforts during the Lenten season to let go of hindrances and envision the boundless possibilities before you.
