Join us for a field trip to Belle Isle in Detroit and dinner beforehand.
Joe Reilly of the Building Beloved Community Sangha will be leading a walking meditation. Walking meditations are a peaceful way to enjoy nature and the presence of others in Noble Silence. They are done at a slow pace for about an hour with pauses every so often.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the entry path to the lighthouse and goes until 8:00 p.m.
If you would like to carpool, please meet at the Dry Dock at 4:00 p.m. in the parking lot behind the building. We will decide from there where to eat. We all know Scott doesn’t have a car, so please let us know if you can be a driver. Your efforts will earn you much merit. The Dry Dock is located at 412 Huron Ave, Port Huron.
