Dear Friend of Unity of Blue Water,

The past year has been a spiritually transformative one for Unity of Blue Water. Spirit has been moving in and through us all. We have now been in our new home for one year, and while we have come a long way, there is still meaningful work ahead. With your support and the guidance of Spirit, we continue moving toward our goal of sustaining and strengthening our spiritual presence in South Park, Port Huron.

This letter is to formally notify you of our Annual Congregational Meeting, to be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at Unity of Blue Water. This meeting will provide an opportunity to review the changes and adjustments we have experienced over the past year, as well as to prayerfully establish our goals as a congregation and explore how we can achieve them together.

During the meeting, we will review our programs and finances from the past year and discuss plans for our immediate future. We are deeply grateful for your continued involvement and commitment, and we hope you will join us for this important gathering. Thank you for being part of our church family, and please continue to hold Unity of Blue Water in your prayers.

There are several important matters that will also be discussed. One of these is the election of board members. This year, with the exception of Rev. Brian Drafton-Griffin, all current board members will be resigning for various reasons, and we will need to elect an entirely new board. We will also be having discussion regarding the 17th Street property.

All are welcome, and we truly look forward to seeing you. The future of Unity of Blue Water is now—it is in our hands. The meeting is planned to last approximately 90 minutes, and we kindly ask for your help in keeping us on schedule. Knowing it will be a full day, the board is planning a delightful lunch for everyone to enjoy.
